About the position

The Creative Director/Marketing Officer will lead a talented creative team to develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns that align with corporate strategy. This role requires a blend of creative vision and business acumen to produce compelling marketing materials across various channels, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, build, and review the work of a talented creative team in the production of all web, print, and digital marketing collateral.
  • Manage content strategy for both small and large-scale projects.
  • Develop marketing campaigns; conceive and implement new concepts for projects; oversee them to completion.
  • Meet annual budgets by forecasting and managing expenses.
  • Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, video designers, and copywriters in the strategic development of messages and deliverables.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives.
  • Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables effectively address marketing goals and meet corporate branding guidelines.
  • Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences.
  • Present, or oversee presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of creative direction in an agency or corporate setting.
  • Experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production, all on time and on budget.
  • Experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels including digital, social media, paid media, mobile, print, etc.
  • Proven experience with concept development.
  • Highly skilled in leading a team of creative team members.
  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in art direction, advertising, or marketing/business preferred.
  • Prior experience with copywriting, design, or production preferred.
  • Prior project management experience, with a focus on creative direction preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of HTML coding and Adobe software (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) preferred.
