About the position

The Creative Director, Performance Creative (Copywriter) at Dentsu Creative US is responsible for leading teams in the development and execution of impactful performance creative concepts across various media channels. This role emphasizes the importance of strategic messaging and client relationships, ensuring that creative outputs align with client objectives while fostering a supportive and innovative team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in conceptual development and execution of engaging paid social media, OLV, banners, and display ads.
  • Ensure creative choices align with messaging strategies and meet client and agency objectives.
  • Mentor direct reports and cultivate a supportive team culture.
  • Act as a client-facing representative, nurturing client relationships and presenting creative concepts.
  • Explore new messaging innovations and technologies to promote fresh ideas and concepts.
  • Understand unique audience needs and create relevant content.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in ideating and executing performance creative concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong strategic and creative skills in written, visual, and conceptual formats.
  • Excellent client service and presentation skills.
  • Experience with various technology platforms and media channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams.
