We're looking for a Creative Director, UX/Design, who will drive bold and beautiful, human-centric design across owned and digital platforms. Our newest team leader will wake up each day thinking about holistic, global site design; user experience; design systems; and integrated marketing campaigns. You'll design and deliver a bold, clever, and helpful experience that helps make the Klaviyo brand something our cool customers want to emulate. Responsibilities

  • Mentor and motivate a talented team of UX designers while also engaging in design work.
  • Foster a close, productive partnership with Creative Team colleagues, Marketing, Product, and Engineering Teams.
  • Serve as a creative lead for ongoing, audience-specific integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Drive the design of a compelling, clear journey across our web, featuring our customers and the Klaviyo product.
  • Manage and improve a regularly updated scalable design system ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of UX initiatives.
  • Oversee regular user research initiatives to understand user behavior, needs, and challenges.
  • Deliver stunning, educationally impactful creative that aligns with our product positioning.
  • Lead internal teams to develop impactful creative experiences that deliver on the brand vision and promise.
  • Partner closely with Product and Product Design to ensure a consistent brand experience across all Klaviyo products and platforms.

Requirements

  • 10+ years as Creative/UX Director level or higher; at a creative/ad agency or in-house creative/UX team, designing thoughtful, effective experiences across websites and digital products.
  • Experience in recognizing patterns and avoiding pitfalls; in seeing the required change quickly, galvanizing teams to act, and delivering on the vision.
  • Worked for a SaaS brand, ideally both B2B and B2C.
  • Strong foundational understanding of UX design from an engineering perspective; proven ability to achieve successful design systems aligned to a multi-year roadmap.
  • Customer/audience centricity drives you, and you keep accessibility and inclusivity top of mind, always.
  • Led the re/design of major, high-trafficked, high-performing websites; you can tell us how and why the work was successful.
  • Grew up in graphic design and continue to grow within the discipline.
  • A pixel-perfect person, who's obsessed with fonts, palettes, and consistency.
  • Continuously curious and passionate about sharing your latest learnings with others.
  • Eager to evolve and improve, both the work in front of you and yourself.
