About the position

The Creative Director at Velocity Restorations will lead the creative team and drive marketing initiatives for the company, which specializes in restoring classic American vehicles. This role requires a visionary leader with a passion for classic cars, who can translate the brand's vision into compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with both enthusiasts and collectors. The Creative Director will oversee all creative aspects of marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's values and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, and other creative professionals.
  • Develop and maintain the visual and narrative identity of the company, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of marketing campaigns that highlight classic car restoration services.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and business development teams to integrate creative solutions into broader company initiatives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of creative projects, managing resources and timelines effectively.
  • Oversee relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and other third-party vendors.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within the automotive or luxury goods industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of classic car culture and the ability to translate this into meaningful creative content.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant creative software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including digital, print, and video.
