About the position

CPI Security is seeking a Creative Director to lead the development of innovative marketing solutions and build a world-class in-house creative organization. This role is pivotal in driving brand identity, design, and performance marketing strategies to engage core audiences effectively. The Creative Director will collaborate with various teams to ensure creative excellence across all channels, fostering a culture of creativity and strategic thinking within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic mindset into creative ideation and fulfillment.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, strategy, and business teams to understand objectives, target markets, and key messages.
  • Develop iconic and memorable ideas that resonate with audiences.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design, e-commerce, and performance marketing.
  • Build a world-class, in-house creative organization and develop talent on the team.
  • Champion an omni-channel mindset in creative development.
  • Lead brand campaign development and implementation aligning with business objectives.
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in creative output across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Differentiate the brand through programs and identity.
  • Champion design thinking across marketing to ensure efficiency and collaboration.
  • Oversee creative design and development, optimizing assets for maximum impact.
  • Drive the creation of campaigns and content that engage diverse global audiences.
  • Provide creative direction and mentorship to a team of creatives.
  • Lead the creative vision and strategy for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the development and execution of UX/UI design concepts.
  • Ensure seamless integration of creative concepts across traditional and digital channels.
  • Manage the team to ensure Creative Services advances the business meaningfully.
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual evolution.
  • Track and report metrics for all activities to senior management.
  • Research and share best practices for UX research and user experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant in-house/agency experience with marketing, brand, and interactive design.
  • Expertise in UX/UI design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of designers.
  • Ability to blend creativity with strategic thinking.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build and motivate teams.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of digital marketing practices and strategies.
  • Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Proven track record of developing successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Expert level skill in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Experience with Figma and Microsoft PowerPoint is preferred.
