About the position

The Creative Director at Nutanix is responsible for shaping and maintaining the visual brand and voice of the company. This role involves leading a team of creatives, driving brand distinction, and ensuring a consistent brand experience across various platforms. The Creative Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to execute innovative storytelling and content strategies that align with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a globally consistent flexible fit-for-purpose visual brand and content creation strategy.
  • Align the Nutanix Visual Brand and Content Strategy across operating regions.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing and Marketing Campaign teams to deliver an online marketing strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships within creative and across other cross-functional departments.
  • Execute production of creative/editorial concepts for various visual communication mediums.
  • Ensure global consistency in marketing processes and systems.
  • Manage external agencies and relationships with marketing services.
  • Lead and develop a team of creatives to reach their potential.
  • Manage a budget and track expenses effectively.
  • Maintain and grow the brand portal.
  • Motivate employees globally around a shared visual brand vision.
  • Shape a collaborative, innovative, and transparent culture within the organization.
  • Stay updated on new creative and digital technologies and trends.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in brand, visual identity, creative services, or advertising.
  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
  • Experience in B2B technology or SaaS environments.
  • Successful experience in visual brand management and content creation in a direct people management role.
  • Outstanding visual background in typography, composition, motion, branding, and user-centered design principles.
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing executive management.
  • Data-driven approach to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence at the senior executive level.
  • Highly creative with practical solution-oriented thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of Figma, Keynote, and Adobe CC.
