About the position

Our Agency client is in search of a Creative Director to join their team! This Creative Director role will be a hybrid role requiring you to be onsite 3 days per week. The primary responsibilities for this Creative Director role include inspiring deep cross-functional relationships that ultimately build stronger creatives delivering extraordinary work for clients. You will support the development of structured approaches to assess complex and high-priority strategic initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders. In this position, you will manage the creative team consisting of creatives, art directors, writers, and content producers per project. You will be responsible for diagnosing business challenges, articulating the team's role in solving for business and client needs, and then aligning teams to the task. Additionally, you will create and define the processes and procedures to support the creative team and the creative needs of the company. You will manage team assignments for a wide variety of projects and be accountable for the team's utilization. Leading a creative team to translate complex challenges into impactful solutions that move the needle forward for clients and their audiences will be a key part of your role. You will also motivate a large creative team to deliver both quantity and quality of output while maintaining strong morale. As a Creative Director, you will manage direct reports, including performance reviews and professional development, compensation decisions, improvement initiatives, and other personnel actions. Scaling and driving the internal development and growth of the team will be essential, as well as managing the creative team's progress on all projects and proposals. Finally, you will seek out innovation and examples of greatness throughout the industry to inspire your team and enhance the agency's creative output.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience leading and developing creative teams for large scale events and campaigns.
  • 6+ years of team leadership role in agency or corporate settings.
  • 10+ years managing revenue generating projects.
  • 12+ years of experience in a creative role.
