About the position

The Creative Director at argodesign is responsible for leading client engagements and guiding teams to deliver exceptional design solutions. This role emphasizes a hands-on approach to shaping both the work and client relationships, while fostering a culture of creativity and inclusivity within the studio. The Creative Director will leverage extensive design experience to transform complex challenges into effective strategies, ensuring that the design meets both business goals and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements in a hands-on manner, shaping both the work and client relationships.
• Guide teams to deliver world-class design solutions while fostering a collaborative environment.
• Transform ambiguous requests into clear project briefs and manage programs from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients and mentor designers within the team.
• Utilize design tools such as Figma, Keynote, Miro, and Figjam to communicate ideas and direction effectively.
• Reconcile conflicting agendas and feedback to clear a path for bringing ideas to market.
• Inspire and motivate the team, ensuring they remain proud of their work and engaged in the process.

Requirements

• 15+ years of design experience, with 8+ years as a Creative Director in digital product design and user experience.
• Extensive background in visual design, interaction design, or research and strategy.
• Strong account management skills and ability to handle complex UI and business challenges.
• Hands-on approach to design while coaching teams towards excellence.
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Keynote, Miro, and Figjam.
