About the position

PXP is seeking a highly creative and strategic Creative Director (Art) to lead our social media content and campaign efforts, driving brand awareness and engagement to new heights. As a Creative Director, Social, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's digital presence through omni-channel content. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of captivating social media content and campaigns that resonate with the target audience, drive growth, and elevate the brand. In this role, you will provide creative direction for all social media content, including graphics, videos, and written copy, ensuring consistency and innovation. You will mentor and encourage creative team members to foster a collaborative and creative work environment. Additionally, you will shoulder the responsibility of the quality and completion of all work projects assigned to members of the creative team. Occasionally, you will contribute hands-on by creating high-quality social media content, staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices. You will participate in and provide regular opportunities for professional development and growth to your team, report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution, and ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand and company ideals. Anticipating problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implementing solutions will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying current with industry trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies to drive innovation in social media content is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Creative Director or in a similar creative leadership role, with a focus on social media content and campaigns.
  • Extensive experience with cultural interests including pop culture, particularly sports and music.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative campaigns, content, and strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of how to develop brand content through multi-channel marketing.
  • Good comfort level interacting with high-profile clients and industry professionals.
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development opportunities in the areas of content and social media.
  • Recent hands-on experience with building social campaigns and content.
  • Talent in presenting information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail.
