About the position

The Creative Director at PepsiCo will lead the creative development for a diverse portfolio of iconic food brands, driving insight-driven campaigns and fostering a collaborative environment within the in-house agency team, D3. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong creative background, capable of managing teams and projects while ensuring adherence to brand standards and best practices across various media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 360-degree campaigns integrating media analytics and creative best practices for brands.
  • Manage a team of creatives and freelancers in the development and execution of content for brands.
  • Partner with outside agencies and technology platform partners for execution and learnings.
  • Supervise multiple projects and teams, both internal and external.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are dedicated to individual projects.
  • Meet brand objectives and ensure creative output adheres to best practices.
  • Lead brainstorm sessions and evaluate creative team performance.
  • Develop detailed timelines for project execution.
  • Present work to internal agency team partners, brand team, and stakeholders for approvals.
  • Research and understand client needs and target audiences through various methods.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in a creative agency or in-house agency.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS5 or above.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • Creative experience with broad brand marketing capabilities in CPG and other categories.
  • Experience in marketing, brand development, innovation, shopper marketing, and/or consumer insights.
  • Strong consumer empathy and customer-centricity.
  • Proven collaboration abilities with internal account and brand teams.
  • Strategic thinking and creative leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop marketing tactics.
  • Ability to tell a story and present key messages visually and compellingly.
  • People management experience leading and inspiring creative teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to creatively stretch budgets.

  • Design skills and capabilities.
  • BFA/BA/BS/MS Degree in Advertising, Communications, Visual Communications, or Graphic Design.
