About the position

The Creative Director, Brand Design will lead the design evolution of the company's brands, focusing on creating consistent and innovative brand experiences across various touchpoints. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute brand strategies, ensuring a high-quality visual language is maintained throughout all customer interactions. The position requires a strong background in design and creative direction, particularly in brand identities and communication design, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define the design direction and execution of brand design strategy
  • Evolve the visual language of brands and hone in on brand systems to create iconic styles
  • Develop original breakthrough ideas and conceptual brand design for various touch-points
  • Manage development of executions that resonate with diverse audiences while maintaining brand consistency
  • Sketch, ideate, and generate new concepts based on stakeholder direction and research
  • Work cross-functionally to balance stakeholder needs and simplify complex briefs into compelling ideas
  • Create and sustain a culture of excellence as a leader of designers and partner of cross-functional teams
  • Inspire, enable, energize, and manage designers, freelancers, and agency partners

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience as a creative leader with an emphasis on brand design
  • Experience across the full palette of brand expression: digital, motion, retail, packaging, campaigns, OOH, and events
  • Experience developing and managing holistic consumer-facing brand systems
  • Experience leading creative work and overseeing creative teams or agencies
  • Experience recruiting talent and mentoring creatives
  • A link to an online portfolio showcasing your work

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years relevant experience delivering creative work on projects
  • 10+ years experience in a creative leadership role, building consumer brands globally
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in a research-driven environment
