About the position

The Creative Director - Experiential at ASTOUND is responsible for leading the new business strategy and directing memorable brand interactions through immersive experiences. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop impactful trade show and event concepts that align with client objectives, ensuring extraordinary experiential projects that set the standard for innovative brand engagements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies that position ASTOUND as a leader in experiential marketing.
• Take full ownership of the creative brief, identifying gaps and leading ideation sessions.
• Present ideas confidently to clients, capturing insights to shape the creative approach.
• Translate vision and concepts into impactful design by leading a team of 3D designers.
• Lead the creative direction for trade show and exhibit design, maximizing impact within space and budget constraints.
• Inspire, mentor, and manage a talented team to achieve creative excellence.
• Oversee the conceptualization and execution of trade shows and events for engaging experiences.
• Exercise discernment in design decisions, balancing bold new builds with existing assets.
• Stay informed on emerging trends and technology in experiential design.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree as a minimum requirement.
• 10+ years of experience in creative roles, with a proven track record in experiential design.
• Experiential Agency experience is a must.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in an agency setting.
• Demonstrated experience managing large client engagements or equivalent responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and creative skills with the ability to establish recommendations that drive clients' business.
• Excellent presentation skills and leadership in client and internal meetings.
• Superior customer focus, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of CAD and a background in architecture.
• Ability to utilize 3DS Max and Unreal Engine to create visually compelling experiences.
