About the position

The Creative Director at Torn Ranch is responsible for leading the design team and overseeing the creative vision for all visual design projects, including packaging, marketing materials, and branding. This role involves managing a team of designers, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring brand consistency across all creative outputs. The Creative Director will also stay updated on industry trends to innovate and evolve the brand's identity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall creative strategy for brand, packaging, digital, and print materials.
• Lead and mentor a team of two full-time designers, providing direction and support.
• Manage the design processes from concept to final delivery, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and deadlines.
• Source, hire, and manage external freelance or contract designers as needed.
• Collaborate with sales, product development, procurement, and operations departments.
• Ensure a cohesive and consistent brand identity across all creative touchpoints.
• Stay current with industry trends and design tools to evolve the Torn Ranch brand.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, creative, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Previous experience in packaging design is required.
• Excellent planning, organization, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced computer and design skills.
