About the position

The Creative Director of Consumer Marketing at McAfee will lead the Creative Marketing and Design team, playing a pivotal role in the company's brand transformation and marketing efforts. This position is responsible for developing innovative creative campaigns that resonate with consumers, showcasing McAfee's leadership in online protection. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and agency partners to create cohesive marketing strategies across various channels, ensuring the brand's voice and design are consistent and impactful.

Responsibilities

  • Develop award-winning creative campaigns for McAfee with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Showcase leadership in online protection through brand expressions in design and creative across multiple marketing channels.
  • Develop 360° upper funnel, mid funnel, and lower funnel video and digital marketing campaigns, grounded in briefs, insights, and performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in the development of partner and in-product creative.
  • Guide teams in key design decisions, ensuring consistency and cohesion of brand look and voice across channels.
  • Provide creative inspiration across the business, and manage and develop the brand creative team.
  • Elevate processes and workflows to optimize performance.
  • Leverage best in class practices and drive excellence within the team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of leading powerful creative campaigns and design teams.
  • Deep experience in creative strategy, creative direction, concept development and execution across upper, mid and lower funnel campaigns.
  • Proven ability to direct photography and motion video shoots, with prior onsite and post-production experience.
  • Digital creative experience is a must.
  • Experience in a high-growth or transformation mindset business.
  • Prior experience in leadership roles.
  • Experience managing creative agency partners and working with cross-functional teams across various levels of partners and skill sets.
  • Ability to move with speed and purpose and drive change.
  • Experience with global businesses.
  • Experience in the tech/software industry is a plus.
