About the position

The Creative Director at Warner Bros. Discovery is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative video marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. This role involves managing a team of producers, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that all creative projects align with brand strategy and objectives. The Creative Director will also oversee campaign budgets and push the creative boundaries of traditional promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and creative direction on multiple AV marketing campaigns, ensuring they are on strategy and on brand.
  • Act as the strategic lead for creative conceptualizing, development, and execution of launch and continuity campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and cross-functional peers to meet project goals and achieve desired results.
  • Establish new creative standards and push the creative boundaries of traditional promotion.
  • Build strong relationships with external agencies and internal business partners, executives, show-runners, and talent.
  • Manage senior stakeholders and navigate approvals through a complex hierarchy.
  • Track campaigns and allocate resources to ensure projects stay on deadline and within budget.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker and creative problem solver with the ability to influence and execute groundbreaking ideas.
  • Expert knowledge of creative marketing concepts, development, and production.
  • Proven ability to manage creative projects from conception through implementation.
  • Ability to drive progress and think strategically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong managerial and leadership competencies with experience in nurturing individual talent.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, and relationship development skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to deliver clear direction and communicate effectively.
  • Expert knowledge of production management, post-production, video editing, writing, and producing.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in creative production at a streaming service, television or cable network, or marketing agency.

Nice-to-haves
