About the position

The Creative Director will be responsible for leading the creative development of advertising campaigns and ensuring brand strategy execution. This role involves creating engaging content across various platforms, managing design projects, and maintaining brand guidelines. The Creative Director will also oversee photography and videography efforts to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure brand strategy is executed according to plan
• Create compelling advertising campaigns that engage target audiences across social media platforms
• Illustrate concepts by designing creative layouts of art and copy
• Ensure creative is in line with UFD brand guidelines and retailer requirements
• Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
• Measure the effectiveness of advertisements and make recommendations accordingly
• Create digital assets for advertisements and campaigns in various formats
• Design/update product sell sheets and marketing collateral
• Support brand label updates in line with brand guidelines
• Edit media content to meet mechanical guidelines outlined by advertising partners
• Create a continual supply of lifestyle and thematic product shots
• Edit videos received from brand influencers for UFD ads
• Manage vendor relationships for printing quotes and ensure deadlines are met
• Create and send MailChimp campaigns for promotions and events

Requirements

• Proficient at Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient at Video Editing
• Knowledgeable of social media platforms and algorithms
• Knowledgeable of social media influencers in the natural hair and beauty space
• 3 years of experience with Adobe Illustrator
