About the position

The Creative Director (Art) at Razorfish is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the creative direction of campaigns and content across .Com and social channels. This position involves inspiring and managing creative teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations, and collaborating with account management to enhance client satisfaction. The role also includes developing strategic growth plans, mentoring team members, and actively participating in new business pitches.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the campaign and content creative for .Com and Social channels.
  • Assign teams and inspire them to produce exceptional concepts and final work.
  • Work closely with account management to ensure client satisfaction with creative work.
  • Develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insights and inspiration.
  • Promote a culture of creative quality and accountability.
  • Demonstrate understanding of clients' marketing challenges and propose creative solutions.
  • Plan strategic growth of agency billings and participate in new business pitches.
  • Lead creative efforts on new business assignments as needed.
  • Ensure creative presentations meet the highest professional standards.
  • Manage workload for assigned book of business to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Communicate creative concepts and strategies to clients and internal teams.
  • Design comps, storyboards, and initial graphic concepts as needed.
  • Facilitate ideation, writing, and execution of original concepts in response to client briefs.
  • Extend client relationships and explore new ways to deliver value.
  • Present and review creative work with management and team members.
  • Mentor and train team members, write performance reviews, and allocate work.

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience in agency or equivalent background.
  • Portfolio must include all digital (social, mobile, web) campaign work.
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be a conceptual thinker and a hands-on creator.
  • Experience in the tech industry is required.
  • Solid knowledge of the creative development process and ability to provide guidance.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience with people management and coaching.
