About the position

Pendulum is seeking a Creative Director to lead the creative direction of its high-growth brand. This role is pivotal within the Brand organization and the broader Marketing team, focusing on aligning creative outputs with brand identity while driving performance metrics. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and a strong executor, capable of taking projects from ideation to delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy with the VP Marketing that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints, including digital platforms, collateral, TV campaigns, and in-person experiences.
  • Lead a team of designers, copywriters, and other creatives to produce high-quality, engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to ensure all work meets brand standards and aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and improve creative output.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for driving performance metrics such as conversion rates and engagement metrics.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Implement A/B testing and other tactics to improve creative performance and ROI.
  • Inspire and motivate the creative team to deliver excellence, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Manage resource allocation and workload distribution to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within the consumer goods, supplements, health, or wellness industries.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful brand campaigns and creative projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Strong capabilities in digital and web design, focusing on both UI and UX.
  • Deep understanding of branding principles, design aesthetics, and storytelling techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in design software (Figma) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
