About the position

Glean is seeking an experienced Creative Director to lead and evolve its brand identity. This role involves managing a creative team and executing a comprehensive creative strategy that aligns with Glean's vision and business goals. The Creative Director will play a crucial role in differentiating Glean in the market and creating excitement among end-users, ensuring that all creative outputs reflect the company's values and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive creative strategy that aligns with Glean's brand vision and business goals.
  • Manage a small team of in-house creative professionals and build a roster of external creative resources.
  • Provide clear creative direction, career path guidance, and timely feedback to improve creative processes.
  • Manage the Creative Team's deliverables across various design and production areas.
  • Work closely with the Demand Gen team to create awareness campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Partner on integrated marketing campaigns for product launches.
  • Capture and amplify customer stories through video and social campaigns.
  • Drive Glean's brand advertising strategy, including research and ad placement.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Design to ensure brand integration across Marketing and Product.
  • Foster collaboration between Product Design and Creative teams to enhance product narratives.
  • Lead the integration of AI tools into the creative workflow and partner with Engineering.
  • Assess and improve the creative approach through competitor audits and performance measurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in both agency and in-house settings.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of successful creative campaigns in the B2B SaaS space.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in design, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Asana.
  • Experience directing/producing video content is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, UX, and UI design principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
