As the Creative Director at Shock Doctor Inc., you will be at the forefront of our ideation, production, and design studio, leading a dynamic team to create compelling and innovative content. Your role is pivotal in shaping the creative vision of the company, ensuring that all work is grounded in strategic insight and reflects superb storytelling. You will be responsible for overseeing the creative process across paid, owned, and earned channels, ensuring that the ideation stretches across all platforms. Your deep knowledge of content creation and production will enable you to assign work effectively and manage the complexities of a fast-paced creative environment. You are expected to have a BIG VISION and BIG IDEAS, acting as both a player and a coach, mentoring and developing talent while also producing best-in-class creative work. In this role, you will articulate a clear and exciting vision for creativity, demonstrating how it can enhance the consumer experience. You will be an early adopter of new innovations, utilizing AI and motion graphics to elevate campaigns. Your passion for creativity will inspire your team and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse team of creative professionals, including Graphic Designers, Production Designers, UX/UI Designers, Content Creators, and Project Managers. Your leadership will be characterized by patience, persistence, and a commitment to nurturing talent, building trust, and developing a positive creative culture within the organization. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. Your operational leadership will involve making management decisions, developing policies, and influencing the direction of the agency. You will also be expected to convey strong storytelling skills through the creative arts, translating industry trends into strategies that elevate our brands. This full-time position is based in Fountain Valley, CA, with a typical work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and a hybrid work model of three days in the office and two days remote.
