About the position

The Creative Director will lead the creative strategy and execution for a portfolio of parks, resorts, and entertainment venues. This role focuses on developing innovative concepts that enhance the brand's presence across various platforms, including advertising campaigns and in-park experiences. The Creative Director will manage a multidisciplinary team to create memorable guest experiences that align with business goals and resonate with audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative vision for the theme park's marketing and branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and brand identity.
  • Oversee the creation of big ideas and compelling campaigns that capture the magic, excitement, and unique appeal of the theme park.
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, art directors, copywriters, and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Work closely with the AOR and other agency partners to synergize externally produced work with internal creative resources.
  • Collaborate with the theme park's marketing and executive teams to understand their objectives and provide strategic direction.
  • Ensure that all creative outputs are on-brand, consistent across channels, and aligned with the theme park's visual identity and messaging.
  • Lead the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, out-of-home, video, and in-park experiences.
  • Oversee the production process for all creative deliverables, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and creative innovations, bringing fresh ideas and approaches to keep the theme park's brand dynamic and engaging.
  • Present ideas and campaign concepts to clients, articulating the creative vision and how it meets business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of creative experience in an agency, entertainment, hospitality, or theme park environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful, high-impact creative campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring creative teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
  • Expert knowledge of brand strategy, creative direction, and production processes.
  • Experience in the theme park, entertainment, or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite, as well as project management software.
