About the position

The Creative Lead & Writer/Director at Mighty Media Studios is responsible for leading the conceptualization, development, writing, and direction of various creative video projects. This role requires a blend of high-level creative guidance and hands-on production work, focusing on storytelling through animated, documentary, social, and product content. The position involves collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring that all projects align with brand guidelines and meet technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualizing, writing, and direction on various video projects, including customer testimonials and marketing promos.
• Design concept decks, presentation decks, motion assets, and templates.
• Provide well-crafted copy for presentations and scripts.
• Lead brainstorming and project concept development.
• Source and direct talent on productions.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet creative and technical standards.
• Work with partners and the production team to deliver on project goals.
• Concept, write, and direct video projects as requested.
• Serve as the primary creative point of contact for video deliverables.
• Create project decks, documents, storyboards, and shot lists for 3-5 monthly videos.
• Work directly with the Client team to ensure compliance with production rights and guidelines.
• Follow and implement client brand guidelines for every project.
• Participate in 15-25 meetings weekly related to staff, team, project, and post-production.
• Deliver clear, concise, and proactive communications to project stakeholders and team leaders.
• Finalize and hand over all video project deliverables per the agreed-upon timeline.
• Deliver broadcast quality on brand video assets per client deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in creative production.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Proven experience writing and crafting scripts as well as directing talent.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in corporate work, events, documentary, and social media content creation.
• Experience in creating high-quality internal corporate events and meeting videos.
• Experience leading animated/motion graphics pieces.
• Experience working with user-generated content (UGC) and highly produced content.
• Experience creating social content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
• Experience in photography, cinematography, and editing with a deep understanding of production and post-production technologies and styles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Experience for creating deck presentations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure.
• Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
