About the position

Excite your creativity as the Creative Manager of Video Production at K-LOVE! Leading a dynamic team within our Marketing Department, you'll drive excellence in video production for both internal communications and external marketing. From guiding team members' growth to ensuring top-notch project execution, you'll shape compelling visual narratives that resonate. Join us in setting the standard for impactful storytelling and collaborative innovation. This is an in-office role in Franklin, TN. In this role, you will lead by example in the art of visual and narrative storytelling, continuously motivating the Video Production team with inspirational examples and best practices. You will manage the Video Production team as both a working contributor and supervisor, overseeing the setup of video and audio equipment, capturing video through filming with the edit and final output in mind, and organizing and maintaining all equipment. You will also oversee the organization of footage from shoots, ensuring competency in tracking project files and associated materials. Your responsibilities will include mentoring the video production team, ensuring production details are in place for smooth and organized execution of all in-progress projects, and maintaining communication with heads of departments throughout K-LOVE. You may act as a point of contact for internal clients, helping to shape the scope of work and buffer the Video Production Team from distractions. Additionally, you will implement workflow procedures that optimize productivity and ensure the team follows agreed-upon workflows and tools. You will also create reports and documentation to communicate clearly and log important decisions, while keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in media production.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in visual and narrative storytelling.

  • Maintain overall video department, including equipment upkeep and budget.

  • Create reports and documentation for clear communication.
  • Analyze metrics and provide executive summaries of deliverables.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Video Production, Design, Media Arts, Communications, or a combination of education/training with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 6 - 10 years of professional experience in film and/or TV industry and video production.
  • Minimum 6 plus years of leadership experience, including supervision of media producers.
  • Deep working knowledge in videography and editing practices.
  • Ability to refine and re-event storytelling cinematically.
  • Knowledge of latest filming and editing techniques.
  • Experienced videographer with knowledge of current equipment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar NLE software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of content consumption trends and audience habits.
  • Working knowledge of media distribution.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to creative and technical details with a willingness to take ownership of projects.
  • Ability to effectively transmit ideas and work independently or as a team leader.
  • Possesses creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for developing business relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
