About the position

The Creative Marketing Manager for 1:1 Campaigns at Cox Communications is responsible for developing and executing creative marketing strategies and campaigns that enhance customer engagement and drive acquisition. This role involves collaboration across various departments to ensure that customer communications align with the brand's promise and improve overall customer experience. The manager will lead initiatives that utilize modern marketing techniques, focusing on personalization and customer journeys, while managing budgets and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative campaigns aligned with strategic objectives to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Execute marketing campaigns across various channels including email, direct mail, TV, print, online video, and social media.
  • Communicate creative strategies and project plans to stakeholders and report on campaign performance.
  • Develop a personalized customer lifecycle experience tailored to individual user journeys.
  • Guide the transition from traditional marketing approaches to modern methods, emphasizing hyper-targeting and optimization.
  • Direct external advertising agencies and vendors in strategy and execution of campaigns.
  • Drive efficiency in communication programs in partnership with strategy and media teams.
  • Manage budgets and resources with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or related field with 6 years of experience; or 10 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to influence others.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional groups and achieve results in a matrix organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to manage time independently and juggle competing priorities.
  • Proven critical thinking, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree with 4 years of experience in a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Agency experience.
