About the position

The Creative Marketing Specialist at Sandia Area Federal Credit Union is responsible for strategizing and executing creative marketing campaigns, focusing on digital storytelling and marketing communication strategies. This role involves managing social media channels, content creation, and performance reporting to enhance the credit union's brand and member engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, graphic design, and copywriting, with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of marketing trends.

Responsibilities

  • Design, edit, and proof creative content for various channels including website, digital, print, and video.
  • Copywrite for blogs, websites, PR, corporate/internal communication, SEO/SEM, and print collateral.
  • Ensure consistent branding and design across all assets and third-party vendor integrations.
  • Provide a positive, intuitive experience through organization-wide content marketing to increase engagement and conversion of leads.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in various software programs for production, design, and tabulation of marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Operations Officer for print material exports and submissions.
  • Create and execute campaign strategies for social media platforms in conjunction with marketing initiatives.
  • Manage ongoing content schedule for social media to educate about financial and security/fraud topics.
  • Brand and market the credit union through social media events, promotions, and initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond on review platforms like Google and Yelp.
  • Build social media campaigns to gain measurable member engagement and conversions.
  • Assess performance metrics and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Compile and maintain monthly statistics for marketing reports.
  • Assist in other marketing functions as determined by the SVP Marketing and Creative and Brand Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Four years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Highly motivated, independent, and creative with good follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Banking experience is a plus but not required.
