The Creative Operations Director at WTW is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the development and management of all creative assets within the organization. This position is integral to ensuring that the creative team operates efficiently and effectively, facilitating the flow of information and assets to and from the team. The Creative Operations Director will manage the prioritization of work, monitor adherence to project scopes and deadlines, and assess team bandwidth, collaborating closely with Design and Content Directors to allocate resources as necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of creative processes and production, along with extensive project management expertise, to ensure that all creative initiatives align with business objectives. In this role, the Creative Operations Director will be tasked with managing the entire creative process and workflow, from the initial creative request to the final release of assets. This includes the intake, coordination, and project management of various creative projects, such as design, production, copywriting, and development. The Director will ensure that all projects remain on track and facilitate the handoff of materials to stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires the identification of project requirements and the determination of whether project kickoffs are necessary, ensuring that all scope documents are complete and accurate. Collaboration is key in this position, as the Creative Operations Director will work with both internal and external stakeholders to establish priorities and ensure that all creative work aligns with business goals. The Director will create and manage timelines and deadlines for creative assets, maintain project documentation, and develop effective workflow processes and communication models. Clear and frequent communication with all stakeholders regarding timelines, delivery, feedback, and improvement opportunities is essential. The Director will also be responsible for incorporating new processes, tools, and workflow systems to enhance efficiencies within the creative team, while maintaining a firm understanding of all aspects of the creative production process.
