About the position

The Creative Project Coordinator at JD Sports Fashion plays a crucial role in the project coordination team, responsible for planning, scheduling, and allocating creative resources for marketing campaigns. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to solve complex problems while ensuring project success. The coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage project plans from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create and manage complete project plans for omnichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate creative resources aligned to project plans to ensure timely delivery.
  • Evaluate project scope, track and report project progress to stakeholders, and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Manage information trafficking in Basecamp and Smartsheet to create status reports for daily business and key initiatives.
  • Own the creation and management of weekly schedules across design, copy, production, and video post-production.
  • Ensure incoming project briefs have required dependencies and monitor project schedules and resources.
  • Collaborate with Art Directors to assign design standards before assigning projects to designers or production artists.
  • Facilitate priority planning documents and weekly meetings with internal teams to ensure business priorities are met.
  • Work with Creative Leadership to develop agendas for weekly creative review meetings.
  • Proactively ensure projects are on time and progressing through milestones.
  • Identify issues and solutions within project lifecycles and evaluate processes for ongoing improvements.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience managing creative projects.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Basecamp 3 or similar project management tools.
  • Intermediate experience with Smartsheet.
  • Intermediate understanding of photo shoot planning, design, print, and video post-production processes.
  • Familiarity with agile workflow and omnichannel marketing plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Preferred candidate located in Boulder.
  • Previous print and motion project management experience.
  • Experience working with outside vendors and understanding standard creative timelines for omnichannel deliverables.
