About the position

The Creative Services Specialist (Graphic Designer) role at Colony Brands, Inc. involves supporting the Creative Marketing Services department in the design, execution, and accuracy of digital and print materials for Home/Hardgoods retail brands. This position requires strong creative design capabilities, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and collaboration with various teams to ensure high-quality catalog designs that align with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain assigned brands' style guides.
• Execute creative concepts and layouts, including writing photography direction.
• Audit existing graphic treatments, fonts, and templates to enhance branding.
• Analyze layouts and spreads for graphic appearance and accuracy according to brand standards.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal campaigns and strategies that align with brand design and voice.
• Develop and write photo direction in layouts accurately.
• Research and recommend methods of visual communication to improve sales and profitability.
• Follow project specifications and retrieve high-resolution images from Service Bureau FTP.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Commercial Art, or a related field.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Strong layout skills for effective product display.
• Ability to deliver consistent quality of work in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid prioritization and organizational skills.
