About the position

The Creative Services Writer/Videographer/Editor at WNDU Gray Media is responsible for creating strategic content that drives success for the station and its clients. This role involves collaborating with various teams to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit commercials, digital videos, and promotional campaigns, while fostering a positive and energetic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Sales and Creative teams to write, shoot, design, and edit commercials and digital media for WNDU clients.
• Writing, shooting, and editing daily news topicals.
• Contributing to the development of station image promotion campaigns for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Assisting with station community events.

Requirements

• Preferred college degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Proficient in shooting with DSLRs and professional-grade video cameras.
• Strong skills in writing, shooting, and editing strategic content that drives action.
• Experience in engaging social media audiences.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company policies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Grass Valley Edius is a plus.
• FAA Drone Certification is a plus; WNDU offers training and certification if necessary.
• Voiceover experience is a plus.
