About the position

The Creative Social Media Manager & Content Creator of the Office of Spiritual Development will be responsible for assisting the Creative Director in various areas deemed necessary. This role involves creating essential media assets for the Office of Spiritual Development and its associated offices, including photo, video, graphic, audio, print, and digital assets. Applicants must submit a current portfolio for employment consideration.

Responsibilities

• Managing all OSD social media platforms, including ideating, writing, developing, scheduling, and posting content
• Defining and implementing measurable strategies and campaigns to meet digital presence objectives
• Creating a digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifying strategic weaknesses, and making recommendations for improvements
• Developing video assets and content for Convocation and Campus Community guests
• Developing digital assets for LED surfaces during Convocation, Campus Community, and Liberty Worship Collective sets
• Developing digital and print assets for LU Stages, LU Shepherd, LU Serve, LU Send, and Liberty Worship Collective
• Supporting the Videographers and Content Creators with digital graphic assets as needed
• Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment within project specifications, deadlines, and budget restrictions
• Staying up-to-date with current cultural trends and industry creative tools, ideating new initiatives and content that connects with the target audience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with a concentration in Digital Media, Cinematic Arts, Strategic Communication, Marketing, or similar concentration
• Proficiency in Adobe programs such as Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve experience preferred or other video editing software
• 2+ years in a professional Videographer, Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, or other creative position
