About the position

The Creative Strategist / Content Writer at UBlockout is responsible for planning, writing, creating, and publishing content across various channels, including digital media, social media, and print. This role aims to enhance UBlockout's brand presence and engage with key audiences through strategic content production and management. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a passion for content creation and a strong understanding of social media trends.

Responsibilities

  • Champion UBlockout's tone of voice and brand guidelines.
  • Conduct audience research to understand key audiences and their needs.
  • Develop creative concepts and content plans to achieve business goals.
  • Create and manage content calendars for the business.
  • Produce imagery and video for social media platforms.
  • Oversee the end-to-end production of videography and photography projects.
  • Collaborate with UX and CRO teams to align content with business requirements.
  • Review all produced media for quality and brand consistency.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Commission external suppliers for content production.
  • Liaise with influencers for content creation and usage rights.
  • Work with paid media specialists to maximize content ROI and ROAS.
  • Utilize data insights to inform creative strategies.
  • Write and edit compelling copy for various mediums.
  • Publish and manage social media channels and website content.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience creating content for social and digital marketing.
  • Excellent command of the English language and impeccable grammar.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and CapCut.
  • Strong editing skills and editorial judgment.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems into clear copy.
  • Excellent research and communication skills.
  • Experience in adapting brand voice for different platforms.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to ideate creative concepts for campaigns.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in agency, in-house, or own-brand content creation.
  • Curiosity about marketing tactics and audience engagement.
