In this role, you will lead and manage a team of designers, providing direction, feedback, and guidance on projects with a hands-on approach when needed. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality design work to clients while staying current on design trends and techniques. Your responsibilities will include managing the hiring and onboarding process for new design team members, communicating effectively when projects are handed off, and working closely with senior designers to provide feedback and guidance. You will also be responsible for presenting and collaborating with producers, campaign managers, and others, establishing brand standards, and pushing creative boundaries. Your role will involve developing and mentoring design pieces, creating visual designs for various brand content, and managing all phases of the Design Studio department's projects from start to finish. You will establish targets and measures that reflect digital communication objectives, communicate objectives to staff, and provide leadership in defining project scope and schedules. Additionally, you will create and implement systems to increase departmental efficiency, partner with internal clients on graphical projects, and coordinate with external contractors as needed. Your commitment to professional development and maintaining high standards will be crucial in ensuring deadlines are met and capacity is communicated clearly. You will also utilize produced video content in design work and help develop the team to think in mixed media terms.
