About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Creator Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy that powers the passion economy, offering economic opportunities for creators who inspire creativity and provide value to users. This full-time position is preferably located in the Bay Area or Los Angeles, and it emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and growth within a dynamic team environment. The role requires a deep understanding of creator perception and the ability to define success metrics, analyze creator behavior, and coordinate with internal teams for product launches and global initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive in finding solutions and creating opportunities independently, while also being able to motivate creators to enhance their content quality.

Responsibilities

  • Understand current problems and how it impacts creator perception, define success metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones to enhance TikTok Global PGC creator perception.
  • Analyze PGC creator behavior and data to optimize perception related strategies (building showcases/Creator events/campaigns) based on analysis and market research.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for new product-feature launches and global initiatives.
  • Gather and provide insights on strategies to motivate PGC creators to stay active and continually improve their 1min+ content quality.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or higher, with 5+ years in Marketing/Operations.
  • Must possess project management skills and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across different time zones and build trusted relationships.
  • Familiarity with YouTube and other video platforms, with an understanding of platform ecosystems and mechanisms.
