About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This position is ideal for individuals with an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and an unrestricted credential such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA), or Practicing Attorney. As a Tax Expert, you will have the opportunity to work 100% remotely, collaborating with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. This role involves helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation, providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, and managing product/software inquiries using Intuit TurboTax products. You will be expected to utilize government resources, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate and helpful information to customers in a friendly and professional manner. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will interact with clients through video and audio tools, ensuring a positive experience while documenting interactions to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government resources and professional expertise to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Interact with customers through state-of-the-art video communication software.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney).
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.
