About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This position is ideal for individuals with an active PTIN and unrestricted credentials such as CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney. As a Tax Expert, you will have the opportunity to work 100% remotely, collaborating with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. You will be responsible for helping customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products, providing tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. Your role will be crucial in advancing Intuit's goal of Powering Prosperity Around the World. You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answers to customers using everyday language. This is a virtual, customer-facing role, so you will use state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional manner.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney) with strong tax preparation experience.
• Extensive knowledge of tax laws and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers confidently.

Nice-to-haves
