About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This part-time position allows you to work 100% remotely, providing you with the flexibility to collaborate with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. As a Tax Expert, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation, ensuring they receive the best possible service while preparing their taxes. You will be responsible for providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. Your expertise will be vital in advancing our goal of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World.' You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers to customers in everyday language. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. You will also document interactions to maintain accurate records, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Document interactions to maintain accurate records of customer engagements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.
