About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This position is designed for individuals who have a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation. As a Tax Expert, you will be responsible for assisting customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. This role allows you to work 100% remotely, providing you the flexibility to collaborate with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. You will be expected to provide tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries. Your goal will be to advance Intuit's mission of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World.' You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers to customers in a clear and understandable manner. This is a virtual, customer-facing role, where you will interact with customers through state-of-the-art video communication software and document interactions to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Experience using commercial tax preparation software.
• Ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional manner.
