About the position

Intuit is seeking Credentialed Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This part-time position allows you to work 100% remotely, providing you with the flexibility to collaborate with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. As a Tax Expert, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their tax preparation needs, utilizing your expertise in tax laws and regulations. You will be responsible for helping customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products, providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, and managing product inquiries. Your interactions with clients will be conducted through state-of-the-art video communication software, ensuring a professional and friendly experience. You will also document all interactions to maintain accurate records, contributing to the overall goal of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." This role requires a minimum of 20 hours of work per week, and you must possess an active, unrestricted credential such as CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney, along with a strong background in tax preparation and filing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Manage product and software inquiries from customers.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.
• Interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential (CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney).
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.
