About the position

Intuit is seeking Credentialed Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This position is designed for individuals who have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and hold an unrestricted credential such as a CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or Practicing Attorney. As a Tax Expert, you will have the opportunity to work 100% remotely, allowing you to collaborate with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation and are committed to enhancing the Intuit brand by providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. You will provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, and tax calculations while managing product and software inquiries. Your responsibilities will include utilizing government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers to customers in a clear and understandable manner. This is a virtual, customer-facing role, and you will interact with customers through state-of-the-art video communication software, documenting all interactions to maintain accurate records. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software. Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws are essential. You will also need excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. This position requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, and you must have or be willing to obtain a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit's security criteria.

Responsibilities

Requirements
