About the position

The Credentialing Onboarding Specialist at Urgent Team is responsible for managing the onboarding process for physicians and midlevel providers. This role ensures that all necessary documentation is collected, processed, and that new providers are set up in the credentialing system. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for onboarding all new physicians and midlevel providers.
• Request all documents & forms that require signatures from providers in the required timeframe.
• Pull UCA required documents.
• Handle the Collab agreement process for each state.
• Set up new providers in the credentialing system (Echo One/Symed).
• Ensure new providers have access to the provider portal (Echo One/Symed).
• Obtain & update CAQH information for new providers.
• Submit EMR information to the correct parties for new provider access.
• Request & obtain COI for new providers.
• Keep communication spreadsheet with new provider information updated.
• Notify HR & management that providers have completed/cleared the onboarding process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in medical or related field with a thorough understanding of provider credentialing and onboarding.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Good organizational and project management ability.
• Comfortable extracting and formatting data for ad hoc report requests.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
