About The Position

The Credit Analyst position at United Bank of Michigan is a key role within the Commercial Lending department, responsible for analyzing financial statements and preparing loan applications. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, such as financial reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to register and maintain NMLS Unique Identifying Number.
• Regular standing and walking; utilizing hands and arms; ability to talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and related materials.
• Prepare loan applications and required collateral documentation.
• Close loan transactions and create credit files.
• Maintain accurate and current information in credit files.
• Attend customer meetings at the direction of the Loan Officer.
• Assist Commercial Loan Officers and Branch Managers with technical or advisory assistance.
• Handle all servicing aspects of the loan.
• Undertake special projects relating to departmental services as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
