About the position

We are in the Investment/Advisory industry, located in Boca Raton, Florida, seeking a Credit Analyst - Financial Services to join our team. The role involves managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries primarily in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will come from banking or the lending industry and understand borrowing bases. This position requires a high level of integrity and transparency in all transactions, ensuring accuracy in every transaction performed. The Credit Analyst will utilize their skills and knowledge in commercial banking to perform various tasks, including financial modeling and monitoring customer accounts. Excellent reading comprehension, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential for daily tasks, as well as strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
  • Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis
  • Use MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint for various tasks such as financial modeling
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to credit applications and accounts
  • Use skills and knowledge in commercial banking to perform tasks
  • Display a high level of integrity and transparency in all transactions
  • Ensure accuracy in every transaction performed
  • Use excellent reading comprehension, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in daily tasks
  • Display strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Real Estate & Property industry
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience in Commercial Banking
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial data
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of credit risk analysis and lending practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
