In the role of Credit Analyst II CB, the colleague will play a crucial part in supporting credit officers by providing analytical assistance related to portfolio management. This position involves preparing quarterly trend cards for eligible credits, which are essential for tracking performance and identifying trends within the portfolio. The analyst may also be tasked with preparing liquidation, industry, and projection analyses of Credit Risk Ratings (CRR) under the guidance of a credit officer. Additionally, the role includes the preparation of credit approval documents for straightforward annual reviews and renewals, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately compiled and presented. The Credit Analyst II is expected to complete the bank's Credit Academy courses within 18 months of starting the position, which will enhance their understanding of the bank's credit policies and relevant banking laws and regulations. The analyst will also engage in various analytical tasks, such as financial statement spreading, covenant calculations, and collateral reviews, as needed. This role requires a proactive approach to research and analysis, including preparing industry analyses and projections that encompass sensitivity and breakeven assessments. The analyst will also be responsible for preparing proforma or projected financial covenant compliance documentation, which is critical for maintaining the integrity of the credit portfolio. Collaboration is a key aspect of this position, as the analyst will participate in client calls alongside Relationship Managers (RMs) and assist in assembling the Portfolio Review Package under the supervision of the Lead Credit Officer or their designee. Furthermore, the analyst will have the opportunity to provide technical training to new hire Credit Analyst I and may shadow training in Asset-Based Lending (ABL) and Credit Risk Review, subject to availability. This role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and are capable of managing multiple tasks effectively while adhering to deadlines.
