About the position

As a Credit Analyst II at Covetrus, you will serve as a lead information source for establishing and monitoring corporate and non-corporate customer accounts. Your role will involve maintaining up-to-date information in the customer master file and lease processing, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the mission to provide the best customer experience possible. You will be responsible for reviewing and processing new customer applications to establish or reactivate accounts, assigning appropriate credit terms and limits, and communicating with customers and sales teams regarding any limitations on requested terms or limits. Negotiation of modified terms or limits will also be part of your responsibilities. In this position, you will control, process, and update all customer information in the system, including daily updates of addresses, names, and phone numbers, as well as entering territory changes as necessary. You will monitor and control the process of establishing Initial Stocking Order (ISO) special billing accounts, notifying the credit supervisor or Senior Credit Analyst and sales of account setups and closures. Your communication will extend to Territory Managers, DC Managers, customers, Regulatory Affairs, and eBusiness to ensure compliance with customer maintenance issues, including credit terms and limits for new accounts and ISOs. You will also provide trade references to other vendors regarding mutual customers and control corporate customer limits, which require detailed analysis. This includes pulling monthly summary reports and collaborating with collection agents and managers to identify customers needing further review. As the primary contact for Strategic Account Managers and corporate customers, you will gather data to determine the growth trajectory of high-limit customers, document detailed credit financial analyses, and report findings to management. Additionally, you will assist in monitoring lease and third-party finance agreement transactions, working with third-party contacts to confirm purchase orders and shepherding orders through to final billing and collection. Your role will also involve monitoring ISO accounts and special billing requests, approving limits, releasing orders, and communicating with sales as necessary. You will perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the credit department and the company.
