We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst II to provide support to the lenders on a part-time basis by evaluating the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for lending credit with the bank. This role is crucial in ensuring that the bank makes informed lending decisions based on thorough analysis and evaluation of financial data. The Credit Analyst II will be responsible for collecting, reviewing, and analyzing loan requests, financial information, appraisals, title insurance, and other relevant documents for larger, more complex deals. This position requires a strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to identify historical trends of businesses or markets that may impact lending decisions. In addition to analyzing loan requests, the Credit Analyst II will prepare spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and recommendations on loan structure and pricing for lenders. Conducting property inspections to ensure accuracy and assigning risk ratings to support loan requests are also key responsibilities. The analyst will prepare annual reviews of existing loan relationships and credit presentations to be used in the credit approval process, which will include cash flow analysis, forecasting of future performance, industry trends, and loan performance histories. The role also involves developing and maintaining accurate records for lending clients and accounts, as well as assisting lenders in maintaining positive relationships with new and existing clients by providing timely feedback to client requests and questions. Adherence to the bank's policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations, including but not limited to BSA, is essential in this position.
