About the position

The Credit Analyst at SunSource is responsible for establishing, reviewing, and maintaining credit lines for new and existing customers. This role aims to limit the company's exposure while supporting sales for an assigned portfolio. The analyst will also handle customer communications regarding past due balances, assist in resolving invoice issues, and negotiate payment terms to ensure financial stability and growth in sales.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding past due balances.
• Research and resolve problems and disputes.
• Establish and maintain credit lines on accounts.
• Review and release orders on hold.
• Compile data for mid month and month end reports for management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience required.
• Proficient in reading financial reports and D&B reports required.
• Working knowledge of business and credit law required.
• General accounting knowledge required.
• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.

Nice-to-haves

• NACM credential preferred.
