About the position

The Credit Analyst position at SunSource involves establishing, reviewing, and maintaining credit lines for new and existing customers to manage the company's financial exposure while supporting sales efforts. The role requires effective communication with customers regarding past due balances, resolving invoice issues, and negotiating payment terms. The analyst will also compile financial data for reporting purposes and ensure that credit policies are adhered to, ultimately aiming to grow sales profitably.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding past due balance.
• Research and resolve problems and disputes.
• Establish and maintain credit lines on accounts.
• Review and release orders on hold.
• Compile data for mid month and month end reports for management.

Requirements

• High school/GED diploma required; Associate's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience required.
• Proficient in reading financial reports and D&B reports required.
• Working knowledge of business and credit law required.
• General accounting knowledge required.
• NACM credential preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
