About the position

The Credit Analyst Program at Associated Bank is designed to develop high-potential talent through a structured 5-month training program. Participants will gain foundational knowledge in credit risk analysis, business risk, accounting, corporate finance, and underwriting, preparing them for a successful banking career. The program emphasizes mentorship, networking, and performance feedback to support personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand Associated's credit approach and underwriting process.
• Conduct analysis and underwriting of existing and new credit transactions.
• Monitor and manage a loan portfolio.
• Analyze companies' capital structure and financial needs to recommend financial solutions.
• Understand Associated's lending cycle and the range of banking products offered.
• Participate in a structured mentorship program and attend networking events.
• Attend development workshops and skills training, receiving regular feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance (Required).
• Less than 2 years of entry-level experience (Preferred).
