About the position

The A/R Credit and Collection Analyst is responsible for managing a portfolio of business-to-business accounts to optimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) while maintaining customer relationships. This role involves monitoring and evaluating customer credit limits and ensuring effective collections processes are followed.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of business-to-business accounts.
• Optimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) while retaining customer business.
• Monitor and evaluate customer credit limit portfolios.
• Reconcile accounts to resolve discrepancies and short payments.
• Read, interpret, and analyze credit reporting tools.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of full-time experience in Credit and Collections or Accounts Receivable.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent understanding of Collections and Account Reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical skills and account clean-up skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with JD Edwards is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred but not required.
