Responsibilities

  • Conduct relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies and procedures.
  • Spread, review, and analyze financial statements for larger and more complex borrowers.
  • Develop credit approval documents to assist in lending decisions.
  • Review loans to ensure compliance with credit standards and company policy.
  • Accompany officers on customer calls when requested.
  • Prepare credit reports for loan officers and committees.
  • Maintain control over credit requirements of current accounts.
  • Conduct investigations and analyses of financial data for credit decisions.
  • Use credit reporting services to compile customer credit history reports.
  • Research and analyze financial statements and prepare reports on credit worthiness.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for loan committees or customers.
  • Monitor the financial position of established accounts and report irregularities.
  • Review loans held for follow-up and recommend actions accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with loan policy and procedures in daily operations.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and customer service when resolving issues.
  • Engage in professional networking activities and community involvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of current bank lending procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess loan risk.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills within guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer relations skills and teamwork ability.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions in different formats.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
